Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is an American actor and singer. Her parents are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier, both television news directors. Bell was raised and born in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her heritage includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her talents within the industry of entertainment in her early years. When she was in 1992, the actress attended her first audition and won a role in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell aged 13 when her mother signed as an agent was also cast in ads on newspapers and TV. Now, Bell also begins classes in acting for herself. Bell played a small part without credit on the film Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band as well as the drama club. She was the star as Dorothy at her school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. Bell was a student of musical theatre at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell left college in 2001 when she was cast in the role Becky for Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 when Bell's debut appearance was in a credited film, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene is cut off and the credits are all that display her. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell appeared in the Broadway production of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
