Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on the 26th of May 1978 in Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. She has acted as a character in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira has been an integral part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime since March 2020. She is currently an analyst in charge of the Assassination Witness project as well as a core member of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement group. Research conducted by the GITOC is focused on disappearances, assassinations and other forms of violence that occur in the framework of illicit economies. Her research interests are in the impact of organized criminality on law, policy and legislation relating to the human right. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with distinction on International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Also, she has an LL.M. and an MBA in International Relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She was a trained lawyer who worked for four years with an attorney firm for public law. In addition, she worked in assisting positions at non-governmental organisations that are based in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
